Gym Class Booking Software
Publish recurring Yoga, Zumba, boxing and HIIT schedules once and let members book their own seats from the app. Capacity limits, waitlists, trainer rosters and conflict detection are built in, so the front desk stops managing classes over WhatsApp.
What the class booking module does
From one template to a full month of classes
Group classes are where most gym admin time disappears: someone keeps a list, someone else answers "is there space in Zumba tonight?", and nobody knows who actually attended. Gymnaut turns that into a schedule the members operate themselves.
You start with a class template. Pick the branch, the days of the week, the start time and duration, the number of seats and the trainer. Gymnaut materialises the individual slots ahead of time so members always see roughly four weeks of bookable classes. Change the template — a new trainer, a later time, more seats — and upcoming slots follow.
Bookings are first come, first served up to the seat limit, then waitlisted. Cancellations promote the next person in line and notify them. On the day, the trainer opens the slot roster on their phone, sees who booked, and marks attendance — which flows into the same attendance reports as door check-ins.
Class booking questions
- Can I set up recurring weekly classes?
- Yes. You create a class template — say Zumba, Monday and Thursday, 7 pm, 20 seats, with an assigned trainer — and Gymnaut materialises the actual bookable slots for a rolling 28-day window. Editing the template updates upcoming slots.
- What happens when a class is full?
- Members join a waitlist instead of being turned away. When someone cancels, the seat opens up and the waitlisted member is notified by push.
- Does it stop double bookings?
- Yes. Overlapping bookings for the same member are blocked at the database level, and the schedule flags conflicts when a trainer is assigned to two classes at the same time.
- Can trainers see who is attending?
- Each slot has a roster page where the trainer or front desk sees the booked members, the waitlist, and can mark attendance for the session.
- Do members get reminders?
- Members receive push notifications when a booking is confirmed, when a waitlist seat opens, and before the class starts — sent in their own timezone and language.
